Qinghai News Network - On July 22nd, the "Silk Cloud Valley" Low-Carbon Computing Power Industrial Park project, with a total investment of 23 billion yuan (10.2 billion yuan for the first phase), settled in the Hedong New Area Big Data Industrial Park. The arrival of the project marks a new starting point for Haidong in building a data cloud valley in the northwest, creating a pioneering area for the development of Qinghai's big data industry, and becoming a demonstration zone for the deep integration of enclave economy and digital economy. It will serve as an innovation engine for Haidong on the "Belt and Road" digital silk road.

The Qinghai "Silk Cloud Valley" Low-Carbon Computing Power Industrial Park project is an integrated green electricity data center and waste heat recovery project signed between the Haidong Municipal Government and Chongqing Yizhong Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Combining their respective advantages, the two parties will uphold their commitment to innovation and responsibility to build an integrated green electricity data center and preheating recovery center, including container liquid-cooled data machine room areas, waste heat recovery and utilization areas, and data industry science and technology innovation and upstream and downstream supporting enterprise areas. As a booster for Haidong to explore the integrated development of green computing power and smart energy, the project will accelerate the efficient use of renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions, effectively promoting the development of Haidong's green big data industry and zero-carbon industry, and help digital empowerment of Haidong's high-quality development.

The ultimate goal of the project is to build a data cloud valley in the northwest, focusing on leading industries such as green lithium, green silicon, green hydrogen, green animal husbandry, and scientific research and innovation services. By establishing a data center as the focus, the project aims to attract domestic and foreign cloud computing companies, telecom operators, and network service providers to settle in Haidong, promote the development of data service businesses, establish a complete big data industry chain, and form a big data industry ecosystem.
