The Hanyun Valley AI Green Heat & Green Power project has entered the final pre-ignition commissioning phase of its circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boiler. This milestone paves the way for reliable start-up and stable long-term operation.
The Hanyun Valley AI Green Heat & Green Power project has entered the final pre-ignition commissioning phase of its circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) boiler. This milestone paves the way for reliable start-up and stable long-term operation.
Built around an “IDC + green energy station” architecture, the scheme integrates renewable fuels with high-performance computing. The district-heating hub in Shayang Economic Development Zone has completed construction of both the energy station and the CFB boiler. During commissioning, engineers are validating that the boiler’s high-temperature, high-pressure steam correctly drives the steam turbine and generates electricity for the data center. Waste heat from the servers is recovered to dry sewage sludge, which is then pelletized into biomass fuel and co-fired in the boiler, closing a “combined heat & power – waste-heat recovery – biomass recycle” loop.
By cascading energy use—heating, heat recovery and computing—the system converts waste into clean fuel, raises overall efficiency and lowers carbon intensity. Leveraging local Shayang resources and digital waste-heat technology, the project optimizes power value and accelerates industrial decarbonization.
Once commissioning checks are finalized, the boiler will be ignited and brought into trial operation, ushering in full-scale green heat & power circulation.
