Jingmen Yizhong and Jingmen Unicom Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

29 May 2025 – Jingmen Yizhong Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Jingmen Yizhong”) and China Unicom Jingmen Branch (“Jingmen Unicom”) formally signed a strategic-cooperation agreement to jointly advance the Shayang Hanyun Valley Computing Center demonstration project.
Jingmen Yizhong specialises in the converged development of computing power, electricity and heat, as well as AI-industry solutions. Guided by the principles of “green enablement, intelligent leadership”, the company is building a circular industrial system that links green energy with green computing. Clean energy is converted into low-carbon compute capacity for AI ecosystems, while waste heat from servers is reused in agriculture, industry and the service sector, creating a closed-loop green economy.
Jingmen Unicom, a leading telecom operator, brings extensive network resources and proven operational expertise. Both parties share an optimistic outlook on the computing-power market and believe the partnership will deliver resource sharing and complementary advantages. Together they will establish an efficient, stable and secure computing platform to underpin artificial intelligence, big data and cloud-computing applications, injecting new momentum into industry innovation.
Looking ahead, the two sides will expand collaboration into industry–university–research projects and energy-saving retrofitting of data halls to raise overall resource efficiency.
